dBTS Authorized Distributor Application Information

Thank you for your interest in becoming a de Bono Thinking Systems Authorized Distributor. Before proceeding with the application please carefully read the following requirements/obligations that MUST be met/agreed to prior to being granted Authorized Distributor status:

Does your business have:

• Sufficient line of credit and working capitol to conduct business?


• Working knowledge all the import laws and regulations of their country and relevant U.S. export regulations?


• A business plan and detailed marketing strategy outlining a start-up time schedule?


• Explicit knowledge, insight and understanding of the market and individual customer's needs?


• Ability to cover the territory sufficiently with adequate sales and service staff and ability/willingness to inventory adequate product to meet customer's needs?


• Ability to certify trainers and provide training to de Bono Thinking Sytems' standards?


• Ability to attend to all de Bono Thinking Systems service claims expediently?


• Ability/willingness to invest in attending de Bono Thinking Systems international Authorized Distributor meetings?


• Complimentary products, which enhance the distributor's market position?

Will you, as an Authorized Distributor agree to:

• Consider de Bono Thinking Systems its primary creativity and thinking skills line and not sell competitive products?


• Dedicate an individual with English communication skills to be fully trained in the de Bono Thinking Systems products, policies, ordering procedures, etc.?


• Make every effort to promote de Bono Thinking Systems products by means of advertising, promotions, trade shows, etc.?


• Have a showroom and/or conduct showcases which properly display de Bono Thinking Systems products?


• Provide translation of inquiries, proposals, product literature and other related materials if necessary?


• Jointly agree on minimum purchase volumes based upon market and other conditions?

As part of your Authorized Distributor Agreement, de Bono Thinking Systems will agree to:

• Publish quality products built on Edward de Bono's name and reputation


• Create sales and service support material.


• Provide training on products, policies and procedures.


• Forward all appropriate sales leads to the Authorized Distributor.

In addition, where appropriate and when possible, de Bono Thinking Systems will:

• Advertise our products on a National and International level.


• Provide assistance at trade shows.


• Provide co-op advertising.
